If Fuel Costs Rise, Stay Home

Image
As the entire world is facing the increasing of fuel price. Yoweri  Museveni is giving a message about saving money and being careful with spending. He is saying that if fuel becomes too expensive, people should avoid unnecessary travel. Instead of moving around a lot, they can stay at home and reduce costs. This idea focuses on living within your means and adjusting your lifestyle when prices rise. The quote also sounds a bit direct and even strict. Travel is not always just for fun people move for work, school, or family needs. So, while the advice may help some people save money, it may not be practical for everyone. It shows a simple solution to a bigger problem, which is the rising cost of fuel. Overall, the message encourages people to think about their priorities. It reminds us to cut down on things that are not necessary when life becomes expensive. At the same time, it also raises questions about how leaders should handle economic challenges, not just leave the burd...

Reading the Shadows

Image
You may be told that your eyes are getting weak. Things faraway look blurry, and you have to try harder to read. But something strange could happening. Even if you couldn’t see clearly with your eyes, you could start to understand people better. You noticed small things, how someone avoided eye contact, how their voice changed, how they acted different when others were around. you may learn that seeing is not only with your eyes, but also with your mind. At work, you may begin to notice what was really going on. Some people smiled at you but talked badly about you later. Others made plans and didn’t include you. Instead of getting angry, you better stay calm and watch. You have to pay attention to actions, not just words. Slowly, you will understand who you could trust and who you should be careful with. Knowing the truth helped you protect yourself. "Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see a shadow. Character is like a tree and reputation like a shadow. The shadow is ...

The Double Edge Mind

Image
I sat down quietly, and saw something terrible about intelligent species?  I pondered; is there any who knows who is right and who is wrong?  humans are destroyers of what they built. what should we call them? Humans are an intelligent species, but intelligence does not automatically produce peace. In places like the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Sudan, conflicts are fueled by competition over resources, power struggles, and weak institutions. In Sudan, fighting between rival military groups has displaced millions, while in Congo, armed groups continue battling over mineral-rich areas. These situations show that intelligence alone cannot prevent conflict when systems are unstable. In the Middle East, the situation is deeply interconnected. The conflict between Israel and Hamas escalated in 2023, causing large-scale destruction and loss of life. Meanwhile, Iran supports groups like Hezbollah, which increases regional tension and creates a network of indirect conflicts th...

A Commitment to Never Again

Image
On April 7, 2026, we come together as Rwandans to remember the victims of the Genocide against the Tutsi , standing united in shared memory and humanity. “Genocide, Never Again.” This pledge is not only a tribute to those we lost, but a renewed commitment to protect life, uphold dignity, and reject all forms of division. We honor the resilience of survivors and reaffirm our responsibility to stand against denial and distortion of the Genocide against the Tutsi. Unity and reconciliation remain the foundation of our nation. Through truth, forgiveness, and mutual respect, we continue to build a peaceful society where every life is valued and safeguarded. In remembrance and solidarity, we affirm that our strength lies in togetherness, and that hope will always prevail over hatred. “Genocide Never Again.” Solo. <script async src="https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-1466771524855202"      crossorigin="anonymous"></scr...

We Drank from the Same River, Yet Learned to Thirst Apart

Image
we are all born into stories we didn't write. Before we even learn how to ask question the world, we inherit its division, race, tribe, class, and religion. these lines are drawn long before our arrival and passed down through generations like unquestioned truths. We grow up hearing who to trust, who to fear, and who to blame. Yet, as we mature, a quiet realization begins to surface none of this begun with us. The danger lies on how easily these inherited beliefs become our own. When we accept them without reflection, we unknowingly continue cycles of misunderstanding, resentment, and conflict. We repeat the language, adopt the biases, and defend the divisions as if they were natural laws. But they are not, they are                                                                            ...
