THE FEEDING LIGHT OF HONESTY

  There was a time I believed honest was given, a natural part of being human. A quiet agreement we all shared, even if unspoken. But somewhere along way, I started noticing cracks in the belief. Now, if I 'm being honest, I feel like there is hardly anyone left to trust. Thus, it didn't happen over night . It was gradual like watching paint peel from a wall you once thought was flawless. Promises turned into excuses, loyalty turned into transactions, friendship became competition. And more I looked around, the more I realized: everyone seems to be chasing something, and they willing to bend the truth or even break it completely just to get there faster. greed isn't new, but today it feels louder and more urgent. People are rushing to be rich, to be famous, to be seen. In that rush, honesty gets pushed aside like it is optional.
