LIFE AS WAVE: WHY WE ARE HERE

It is one of the oldest and deepest questions people have ever asked.

Different people, scientists, philosophers, and spiritual teachers have tried to answer it in their own way.

WHY WE ARE HERE?

1. THE SCIENCE VIEW.

Science tells us that life on earth began billions of Years ago. The universe is about 13.8 billion years old, and earth formed around 4.5 billion years ago. (NASA,2023) Over time, simple living appeared in the oceans and slowly changed into more complex life a process called evolution. (Darwin, on the origin of species, 1859). from this view, we are part of nature's long story. Our bodies are made from the same atom as stars. As astronomer CARL SAGAN said " we are made of star stuff.

So, science may not tell us why we are here, but it reminds us that our very existence is rare and amazing.

2. THE SPIRITUAL VIEW

Many religions and spiritual paths believe that we are not here by accident. They teach that life has a purpose to love, to grow, and to learn. this believes give people hope and s sense of direction. They remind us that what matters and that our lives have meaning beyond ourselves.

3.HUMAN VIEW

Even if we don't think about stars or souls, we can still find purpose in everyday life. We can live with kindness, help each other, and make the world better in small ways. Psychologist Victor Frankl, who survived the holocaust, wrote that meaning can be found even in hard times. In his book Man's Search of the meaning (1946), he said that our main drive is not pleasure or power, but the desire to find purpose.

So, maybe we are here to love, to create, and to care, to make our short time on Earth matter.

As my last line, whether you believe in science, spirit, or both, one thing is clear: life is precious.
