Gazans returned to ruined homes as Israeli forces pull back under ceasefire

Thousands of displaced Palestinians trekked over the wastelands of Gaza to return to the ruins of their abandoned homes on Friday, after a ceasefire took effect and Israeli troops began withdrawing under the agreement to end the war. The cease fire includes arrangement for the release of hostage Isreal held by Hamas and a reciprocal release of Palestinian prisoners.

there are numerous challenges people are facing, many returnees find their home destroyed or severally damaged, in many cases, only rubble remains. Essential services are either non- functioning or severely limited, Water, electricity, shelter, medical facilities. Aid and humanitarian support are expected to increase but access and delivery remain difficult and uncertain.

As my last line, "it's imperative that global leaders consider the grave consequences of war before taking any military action."
