THE HILLS OF KIGALI

The year is 2025, and for the first time in history, the UCI road world championship come to Africa, hosted in Rwanda, the land of a thousand hills.

From the very start, the atmosphere in Kigali is electric. World strong riders have already reached in Kigali one week before and have time to look around Kigali. Roads are prepared, cameras are set, and microphones are ready for the race, Journalists from all over the world, internation writers, and broadcasting agencies have attended this cycling world championship not only that but for observing the gold hill of Rwanda and let the world know about it.

Preparation has come to an end, only what remains is the trigger for starting the race, as the clock ticks toward the last minutes. Kigali citizen let us go to see the adventure that take place once in unaccountable days, and support our team, your Presence and mine is the greatest contribution.

Schools are closed and government institutions are to work at home. This the first day of championship, we still have more laps to see. Let us all mannered the way it must be and as we have been given instructions from Rwanda nation police, and other rules and regulations. Public transportation must continue its service by using alternative routes as it is given and instructed, so that all could run smoothly. 

Rwandan this what we do, and yes, we can, let us show the world know that there is capable and might countries of Africa that can Hoste world events. together we can. I cannot miss thanking all participants, and all who prepares this to happen, international committees and all cyclists that attend this world cycling championship in 2025. Time to see who's best let us be there to support this amazing event.
